Originally the album of Kill 'Em All was to be called "Metal Up Your Ass"

The rebellious artists wanted the name of their first album to be controversial, and a toilet seat with an emerging metal spike would appear on the cover. The idea turned out to be too shocking for the label. The controversial graphics survived and appears as the leitmotif of the T-shirt series, in the form of patches or on the band's posters.
